When Michael Rianda was 14, he decided that the most important thing in his life should be drawing cartoons, and for some reason he’s never questioned that decision. Michael attended the California College of the Arts and the California Institute of the Arts, where he made two films that he liked, and one film that was, like, seriously, the worst thing ever made. He now has a job as creative director on a show called Gravity Falls. He thought that girls would be more impressed with this success than they actually were. But they couldn’t give less of a shit. He sometimes wonders if maybe that was the whole reason he did it in the first place.
He loves cartoons, movies, puppets, his friends, his family, and a girl named Molly.
